Successful in-house training at SCHIESS!
Over the past few days, we have been hosting our sales representatives from the European market at our premises, and these have been truly valuable and productive training sessions. Through a series of concise sessions, we were able to work through the key aspects of our SCHIESS machines together and explore them in depth.
Our representatives were highly committed, worked intensively with us and are now returning to their regions fully prepared. It is precisely this close cooperation that makes us stronger as a team and ensures that our machines are presented competently and convincingly in the market.

A successful start to the new year 2026!
SCHIESS Werkzeugmaschinenfabrik GmbH has made a successful start to 2026 and remains focused on innovative machine tools, precision engineering solutions and close, collaborative partnerships with customers and sales partners worldwide.
The focus is on the further development of high-performance machine tools, the implementation of customised engineering projects, and the targeted expansion of service and support offerings in the international engineering sector. Through close collaboration with customers and partners, we are sustainably strengthening our position as a reliable manufacturer of machine tools.
We are once again a member of the VDMA – with a long-standing history!
As early as 1891, the founding of the VDW provided the impetus for a collaborative approach to mechanical engineering – initiated by Ernst Schiess, our company’s founder.
Today, we are continuing to make history – as SCHIESS Werkzeugmaschinenfabrik GmbH, we are proud to return to the VDMA – the association that took mechanical engineering in Germany to a new level in 1892.

On 22 January 2025, we took part in the ‘Perspektive Beschäftigung’ event at the Career Information Centre (BIZ) in Halberstadt. The event provided an excellent platform for making new contacts and attracting potential skilled workers to our company.

We have been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 since April 2022. This certification from DEKRA confirms that SCHIESS operates a verified, customer-focused quality management system and that our business processes meet international quality standards.
