For over 160 years, we have been developing innovative CNC-controlled large machining centres in Germany that set global standards in quality, performance and durability.
Our machines – including the proven VERTIMASTER series – are specially designed for heavy-duty machining of large workpieces and are used in demanding industries such as mechanical engineering, energy and aerospace technology and shipbuilding.

What is the MASTERHEAD principle?
The central element is a standardised, mechanical and electronic interface between the machine and the processing head. Different heads – e.g. for milling, turning, drilling or grinding – can be changed quickly and precisely using the pick-up method. Manual retooling is almost completely eliminated.

Machining Heads
Technology-oriented machining heads with CNC-controlled swivelling axes as well as the head and tool change system in pick-up procedure are integrated into the standard equipment.

To be able to provide our global customers with spare parts quickly, essential wear parts are kept in store for customer orders and on-site service.
Job order manufacturing & Contract measurement
